Only a few minutes from Barcelonnette and the Pra Loup resort, on the banks of the Ubaye, our base will be your meeting point for all our rafting, hydrospeed and canoeing activities.

We will provide you with quality wetsuits, jackets and neoprene shoes adapted to the season. We take care of everything, just remember to bring your bathing suit and towel!

The Ubaye river and its grandiose valley

The Ubaye river is so important that it gave its name to the valley, which extends from the Serre-Ponçon lake to the Italian border.

Located in the north of the Alpes de Haute Provence, between Barcelonnette and the ski resorts of Pra Loup and Sauze - Super Sauze, the Ubaye is a magnificent valley to discover or rediscover by rafting.

Unlike its neighbor the Verdon, the Ubaye is a river with a completely natural regime: there is no dam on its course. Thus from spring to autumn it is possible to navigate every day. Because of its natural flow, the Ubaye changes its physiognomy during the seasons, its flow being subject to the melting of the snow and the rains. Each flood can also modify its course. Lovers of living water must adapt to its whims!

The navigation begins at the exit of the gorge of Saint-Paul sur Ubaye. Going down to La Condamine and then Jausier, this part of the "Haute Ubaye" is only navigable when the water level is high, therefore especially in spring.

The river then calms down to cross Barcelonnette, at the foot of the ski resorts of Sauze and Pra Loup. It then widens to go towards Les Thuiles. This easy course is used as a stage for the Baby Raft in summer.
